Substance Painter is a very simple and fun program to use after the uv editing in Maya. I think one of the reasons I like to prepare textures is that I can almost feel like I am actually painting and story telling, I can't help saying that maybe a sharp object hit here, maybe it was worn out from cleaning, maybe there are fingerprints there, or someone has scribbled something with a felt-tip pen, in the manner of Bob Ross. Also, the texture maps I used are as follows; base color, metalness, normal and roughness, size is usually 2048x2048.
